I have been working in the field of Mental Health & Addictions for close to 20 years and specialize in the treatment of Behavioural & Chemical Dependencies. I am very much committed to personal and professional growth. I have been witness to countless #StigmaSlayers overcoming longstanding strongholds and finding peace and serenity in their lives. I work within a client-centered approach which means that I meet people where they are in their life. In describing my work to others, I use terms such as Coach, Cheerleader, and Recovery Tour Guide. Although, I have been referred to by a few different monikers including @StigmaSlayer, #HopeDealer, and Skabawis – a helper to the people. It has been an incredible journey thus far.
